Although our roots are firmly in the trendy Portobello Road market of the 1980’s, the home of Repsycho vintage and retro clothing is very definitely settled in alternative Bristol. Beginning life as a market stall in London gave us a valuable insight into the retail and vintage fashion business and when we decided a more permanent, certainly drier, option was a shop- nonconformist Bristol seemed like the place to be.

Our funky little shop has been a feature of the bohemian heart of the city since 1994, recycled fashion at its grooviest! Gloucester Road is a short walk from the infamous Stokes Croft and hip Montpelier and is one of the liveliest independent high streets in Britain. From the very first day we felt welcomed to the vibrant Gloucester Road community and that spirit continues to the present day. As a big part of our commitment to the independent and family businesses in our community, our bottom floor is dedicated to another company entirely; Prime Cuts. With a stock of over 60,000 vinyl records, they have one of the largest ranges of vintage music in Bristol.

Repsycho Vintage is a ‘treasure trove’ of retro fashion and homeware, a fabulous source of valued vintage clothing as well as handpicked, quality, vintage inspired items. The shop houses a huge range of vintage fashion for men and women. We know that people love searching through the rails for their own personal treasure and judging by the happy faces of our customers they usually find it! The first floor of the shop is home to our Homeware collection- design classics, post war furniture and kitsch objets d’art. 

 In recent years Repsycho has expanded to include online retail, spreading our love of cool vintage all over the world! We photograph and list vintage and vintage inspired clothing and homeware to be sold far and wide. The ranges that we sell can be viewed (and purchased) on this website and you can also contact us with any queries. Repsycho prides itself in its honesty and we try to clearly describe the condition of our items and measure them carefully too, enabling customer confidence in their online purchase experience.
